About Michael.

MICHAEL OCHOA (He/Him) is a New York City based performer. For as long as he can remember, he has been acting, singing, dancing, and quoting Disney films growing up Westminster, Colorado. After attempting to emulate artists like Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson as a child, he first fell in love with musical theatre when his mom took him to see the national tour of Disney's Beauty & the Beast (his favorite Disney film) and was invited to go backstage!
Since then, Michael has continued to grow as an artist. Growing up, he was a two time National Youth Theatre award winner, including Artist of the Year, and is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado's established musical theatre program. He has been seen Off-Broadway in Bad People by Kati Schwartz as well as regionally, most recently at the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities and American Stage. He also frequently attends New York City programs and masterclasses, and has studied with Tyler Jones Voice Studio and at both Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. He has had the honor to perform and work with the best in the industry, including Jeff Whiting, Mike Ruckles, and members of The Telsey Office, Tara Rubin Casting, and Wojick Casting Team.

Michael is a member of Actors' Equity Association (AEA) and looks forward to what's ahead! When not performing, you can most likely find him at the gym, catching the latest film at AMC Theaters, or at a Disney Park!
