About Michael.
A dynamic triple threat equally comfortable leading a company or collaborating in an ensemble, MICHAEL OCHOA (He/Him) is a seasoned musical theatre performer who brings vast knowledge, experience, and dedication to any project that comes his way.
Adept at developing memorable characters and energetic moments onstage, Michael enjoys utilizing his vibrant tenor voice, expressive dance movement and grounded charisma in support of truthful storytelling that both entertain and challenge audiences.
Originally born and raised near the Rocky Mountains in Westminster, Colorado, Michael has been performing for as long as he can remember. Whether he was quoting and singing along to Disney films or emulating artists like Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson, he first fell in love with musical theatre when his mom took him to see the first national tour of Disney's Beauty & the Beast (his favorite Disney film) and, impressed by a five year old knowing every word, was invited by the company to take a backstage tour of the magic.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado's established musical theatre program and has performed Off Broadway and regionally. He is a member of Actors' Equity Association (AEA) and is proudly represented by DDO Artists Agency.
When not performing, you can most likely find him taking part in some of his favorite activities: working out at the gym, catching the latest film with his AMC A-List pass, rewatching classic TV sitcoms, baking like a GBBO pro, or riding every ride at a theme park!
